As we approach the summer hump, we reflect on everything backinthegays with the many contributions you our readers have made and we thank you. With out you, we would not be that much closer to our Mission Statement. June 17, 2012 marked the 2 year anniversary of BiTG and the response has been nothing but love.
On our journey into our third year, things are becoming more clear where backinthegays is becoming an educational platform for our LGBTQIA community in a pop culture and politically aware way. Every day is getting a little easier, but we still have a long way to go towards equality. The contributions show that it is not about acceptance, it is not about conforming, it is about being yourself.
